Went for lunch on a Wednesday early afternoon. Service was great. Many items to choose from on their more then adequate menu. Prices are decent for this day and age of inflation. Ordered the TBird sandwich which was cooked perfectly along with seasoned fries and a complimentary fruit cup. The chopped bacon on the sandwich did have some, unchewable bacon pieces in it but otherwise is a homerun sandwich. Will return.

I was going somewhere else but then I saw the sign and I said to myself let me check this place out. Listen!!!!! Bring your appetite. The portion size is insane. I’m so glad I stop in here. I felt very comfortable and the staff treated me nice. The food was excellent. The eggs/green peppers /onions/hashbrowncornbeef hash etc all combined is like a perfect marriage……I’ll definitely be back
Food was hot and fresh. Service was great and friendly. Everything clean and tables/booths were freshly wiped down. Generous tasty portions of food. You might even be able to share depending on your appetite.
First time trying this breakfast spot and was not disappointed at all! I started with a cup of fresh tasting coffee and my husband got some sweet tea, he likes his sweet tea on the super sweet side and said theirs was really good.
We were blown away the first time we came and decided to come back and see how it held up.
We went out today 8/16/2024 and had lunch . It was very good. I had the Friday Special, Fried Catfish. There was different sides to choose from depending on your personal preferences . I got coleslaw and green beans. It was very good. My wife got an omelette. She said it was very good. The best catfish I had since moving to Oklahoma. Kind of reminded me of Middendorf’s , Manchac, Louisiana. That’s a good thing. The waitress did an excellent job. I highly recommend giving them try. They are reasonably priced.
We almost decided to do our regular lunch date at the Pho restaurant a few doors down. But then we decided to try out Blue Plate Cafe for the first time. I am glad we did. The menu has a lot of items offered so it was hard to choose. I selected a deluxe waffle, it's supposed to come with 2 eggs, hash browns and link sausages. The scrambled eggs seemed more like 4, the hash browns were too much and the waffle is really good with a slight taste of cinnamon. They give you blueberry compote. The wife got one of the skillets with potatoes, over easy eggs, 4 chicken strips, and a biscuit that's so soft and fluffy! Her plate was covered with gravy and chopped green onions. As shown in my pictures, you get a huge amount of food.
I had a great experience. Food was good and service was great. The line to get in seemed long on a Sunday, but they were really good and moving people through the restaurant; only ended up waiting about 10-15 mins. Restrooms were clean.
